The La Salle Computer Society (LSCS) gathered its members and officers for its 3rd General Assembly last June 6, 2026.
Building on the momentum of the previous term, the assembly offered a space to reflect on the organization’s events during Term 2 while previewing the activities lined up for the coming months.
Beyond discussing organizational plans and recognizing past achievements, the event fostered togetherness through icebreakers, such as Bikini Bottom’s Next Top Model, where participants were grouped and selected one model to walk the runway in hopes of becoming Bikini Bottom’s next top model.
The different models were dressed in blankets, with some using props available at the assembly, such as balloons, while others incorporated everyday items like bags and umbrellas. The activity culminated in all the candidates showing off their creations, each adding their own unique flair. The icebreaker proved to be entertaining, drawing cheers and enthusiastic support from the crowd.
As the 3rd General Assembly concluded, project heads Rahnee, Trish, Chrystel, and Chi viewed the event as a success, believing it served as a fitting send-off before a new administration takes charge. While the previous term focused on building camaraderie among the team and strengthening initiatives, this term’s General Assembly centered on creating an enjoyable experience while setting clear expectations for what Term 3 has to offer.
With this renewed sense of unity, the organization looks forward to ending its Ruby Year on a high note alongside the entire LSCS community. As LSCS enters the twilight of its Ruby Year, it remains committed to providing opportunities for its members to reconnect and engage with one another and the wider community.
