LSCS Welcomes Back Members for the 2nd General Assembly

The La Salle Computer Society (LSCS) gathered its members and officers for its 2nd General Assembly last January 21, 2026.

Building on the momentum of the previous term, the assembly offered a space to reflect on the organization’s first-term milestones while previewing the events lined up for the coming months.

Beyond discussing organizational plans and recognizing past achievements, the event fostered camaraderie through interactive icebreakers, such as an Arts and Crafts activity. Participants were provided with paper and coloring materials to create works based on an open-ended prompt.

The icebreaker winner, Ashana, chose to illustrate a core memory from the past year. Drawing from her background in art, she sketched her friend group to capture the moment. She described the activity as both engaging and enjoyable, noting, “The icebreakers were funny, and the following sessions were very informative.”

And as the 2nd General Assembly concluded, two of the project heads, Rahnee and Chi, viewed the entire event as a success, drawing from their personal experiences as members before becoming officers. Both noted that this term’s General Assembly felt different from the previous one. While last term focused on building foundations and introducing initiatives, this term centered on strengthening and building upon that sense of camaraderie—molding what makes LSCS, LSCS.

With this new sense of unity, the organization looks forward to serving as a meaningful point of reflection for the entire LSCS community. As the organization enters the second half of its Ruby Year, LSCS remains committed to providing opportunities for its members to reconnect and engage with one another and the wider community.
