SPARK is an annual event held by De La Salle University’s La Salle Computer Society to introduce high school students to a variety of topics under the fields of informatics and computing through a series of short talks and a culminating case competition. SPARK 2022 had the theme: How will you utilize technological advancements to improve quality of life of people?, highlighting the importance of improving quality of life and attaining development to solve real-world problems during the pandemic. The talks under the program discussed Prototype, Game Development, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Ideation Workshop. SPARK 2022 was headed by Nicholas Scott Campos and Janina Mishi Bacay.

Motivo

The humble beginnings of Motivo started during 2018, when the founders saw a potential of starting up an electronics and mobile accessories brand in the Philippines. Creating a brand under the name Motivo was one of our top priorities in order to differentiate our mobile accessories from all the other products available in flea markets. Our pursuit of providing top of the line products at an affordable price was strengthened after they saw the underserved market in the country. Motivo’s pioneer product line started with mini power bank that were sold through Facebook. 

In 2019, Motivo has expanded by targeting different distribution channels, such as e-commerce platforms, electronics distributors, and more.
