Students from the College of Computer Studies (CCS) often find studying for their major courses alone quite difficult. Due to this, La Salle Computer Society (LSCS) holds a termly activity called the Midterm Group Study (MGS) that aims to help its members study and prepare for the midterms of the courses that they are having any difficulty with. The participating members would be grouped depending on their choice of course to focus on.
In partnership with the Peer Tutors’ Society (PTS) that provide tutors in each group to facilitate the discussion and assist in answering the academic inquiries of the students in that particular group.
The second term’s MGS was held at Gokongwei Lobby on February 12, 2016 from 1 PM to 4 PM. Students from different year levels came to study ARCHORG, CCSTRIG, COMPRO2, COMALGO, INTRODB, and DEV-WEB, which were courses largely requested by the students for that term.
